Resumo: Avila and Viana exhibit an explicit sufficient condition for the Lyapunov exponents of a linear cocycle over a Markov map to have multiplicity 1. We use this result to show the simplicity of Lyapunov spectra for cocycles over hyperbolic ows preserving an ergodic, hyperbolic measure with local product structure. We also show that there is a open and dense set of infinitesimal generator that satisfy this property, and the complementary set has infinite codimension. Here we use the topology of the infinitesimal generators.
